Today is a day of hope. Hope that everything will be fine. We need to go to the school to get the approval letter of transfer.
At the school office, the principle was nice enough to approve the transfer but he said it was impossible to get into the school that we choose. As for me, there's no harm trying. Allah menyuruh kita supaya jangan berputus asa. As everything happens for a reason.
After that, we went to JPWPKL to submit our application.
The officer in charge said we need to wait another 2 weeks for an approval.
We went home and wait...

Chewy Butterfinger Cookies
There's a story behind the making of these cookies. Two stories to be exact.
Firstly, i've been searching for Butterfinger since October 2012. Wanted to bake it for Hari Raya. Buti couldnt find any shop around KL that sell Butterfinger candy. So i had to put the recipe aside.
Secondly, while shopping for groceries recently at a local store, i happened to stumble upon Butterfinger Fun Sized Candy Bar. I wanted to grab those bar while thinking bout the long awaited bookmarked recipe. But then my other-half said, he's not into cookies. Had asked me to bake cake instead. Arghhh..since he was paying for the groceries, i had to put back the bah of Butterfinger. However, yesterday he bought it cause i told him bout something that both of us hate and hope not to discuss it again. When i saw the Butterfinger, i felt happy but at the same time i felt guilty. I got something i wanted by hurting the feeling of my love. How bad can a women get in order to have something they want!
When i made these cookies, i was thinking. These cookies might as well be delicious or it was not worth all the effort to get the Butterfinger. And Alhamdulillah, it was out of this world! My kids definitly love it. And my not- so-cookie-lover husband ate 5 pieces!
I made a batch out of the recipe. I got around 60 pieces of cookies. For each batch, 8 pieces of fun-size Butterfinger candy are used. So i still have more candy in hand. Will bake these lovely again!

Part 4 - Primary School Registration
Happy New Year 2013!
On 2nd of January, my eldest is in Standard One. He was doing well though he was surrounded by unfamiliar faces. He wanted to go to school bacause he thought he could see some of his old friends during kindergarten.
So, today we have decided to apply for a transfer. We went to the school office and ask for a transfer form. I let my husband do most of the talking. I might get aggitated and burst out.
The school clerk told us that a transfer would be possible after 2 weeks of school. But we can just fill in the form first and within 2 weeks, we can get the aporoval from the school.
I thought the transfer could be done today. We'll have to wait then....
